Being a writer isn’t what you would call easy. One has to spend a vast amount of time writing, researching, editing, revising, and¬†outlining. The list goes on and repeats frequently. It helps a great deal if one has a library of resources, an accessible haven of tips, guidelines, and well-intended advice.

Here is my own collection of such books I have gathered over the years.

Becoming a Writer by Dorothea Brande

179 Ways to Save a Novel by Peter Selgin

The Guide to Writing Fantasy and Science Fiction by Philip Athans

The Power Of Point Of View by Alicia Rasley

No More Rejections: 50 Secrets to Writing a Manuscript that Sells by Alice Orr

On Writing Romance: How to Craft a Novel That Sells by Leigh Michaels

Writer’s Digest University by Editors of Writer’s Digest

Writing the Paranormal Novel by Steven Harper

Write-A-Thon: Write Your Book in 26 Days (And Live to Tell About It) by Rochelle Melander

Check back often for more titles.
